Tamak Restaurant Inventory Management Automation
A custom inventory and operations automation system for Tamak Restaurant built with Google Sheets, Apps Script, HTML dashboards, HTML forms, and Looker Studio reporting.
Tamak Restaurant needed a more reliable way to manage inventory, purchases, stock movement, payments, and day-to-day supply records without depending on scattered manual processes.
To solve that, Chilipi built a complete inventory management automation system using Google Sheets and Apps Script, supported by custom HTML dashboards, HTML forms, and a Looker Studio metrics dashboard.
The system includes dedicated modules for:
- Purchases: Records incoming purchases and keeps procurement data organized.
- Purchase Details: Tracks line-level information for better auditability and reporting.
- Closing Stock: Monitors stock balances and helps maintain accurate inventory visibility.
- Items and Units: Structures the product catalog with clear unit-based tracking.
- Payments: Logs and monitors payment activity linked to operational records.
- Supplies and Supplies List: Manages supply entries and maintains a usable operational reference for the team.
Chilipi also built browser-based HTML interfaces for entering and viewing data, making the workflow much easier for non-technical users to operate day to day.
On top of that, the Looker Studio dashboard gives the client a clearer view of business metrics, helping them understand stock flow, purchases, and operational performance in one place.
The result is a lightweight but powerful internal system that reduces manual work, improves accuracy, and gives Tamak Restaurant much better control over its inventory operations.
